I'm Back

OK, I am back today to post my freebie I promised. Hope you like it:

Well, it has been a tough summer but it is getting better finally. I had to go back to St Louis to help with my sister and my mom's surgery and I was supposed to be there for 3 weeks and at the end of my third week I ended up staying an extra week due to my mom's doctor overdosing her. She went in originally for a new pacemaker with a defib. and she was having some high blood sugar problems and they gave her insulin medication and it was way too strong. After she got home and started the meds she went into an insulin coma over night. Scariest thing I ever saw in my life. To make it worst he never even called to check on her after we called him to see what we should do to keep her blood sugar up from 40. which is insulin shock but we never knew that when we called him. He should have told us to take her to the ER but he didn't and we ended up calling an abulance the next morning because her levels dropped to 22. If you ask me he is a terrible doctor. Then after she got home from that night stay at the hospital she came down with phemonia. She can't win. But she is better now and things are finally clearing up.

I am still working 2 jobs but I am going to try to keep up on this site too. I miss my scarpbooking and creating so I am making this a priority. I am going to go thru some of my older stuff to get a freebie up for you asap. Look for it later today. See ya then.

LIfe and Another Freebie

Well, I am still alive but I am not sure how. This second job,working 6 days a week 10 hours - 4 to 5 days a week, is killing this old lady. I never realized how real work could feel after sitting at a desk for the last 10 years. Guess I have been spoiled. Not that being outta shape helps either. Maybe I can get some of this extra baggage off doing 2 jobs. So far nada but I will keep trying. Gotta find better eating habits with these jobs. Right now I am grabbin and running. Junk is the quickest and least healthy way but the way I have been doing it. Need to find a diet that works for those on the run. Got any suggestions I am up for it. Drop me a note to let me know what you think or suggest.

Happy MothersDay

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day, I sure did. My husband took me out to lunch, then my kids brought me flowers and presents, then I watched them swim, then we ate and all watched a great movie, Dejavu. It was a good movie so if you haven't seen it yet I suggest watching it. Densel Washington did a great job in this movie and dedicated it to the Katrina victims. It was definately not what I expected and a movie you really need to pay attention to so you understand it. We got a lot of pictures of the day too.Sooooo....... I made this little kit to create scrapbook LO's with our mothers day pictures. Once I get my LO's done I will post them here for you to see.

LONG TIME NO SEE

Well, it has been quite a long time since I have posted. I feel like I have neglected my blog but that's not all I have been neglecting. I had to take on another job, yes that means I am now working 2 jobs and trying to do my blog. So as you can see I am failing at this blog thing here. I promise once I get used to this 2 job thing I will get back on track here. I can tell you one thing, you sure realize your age when you take on another job. Forty-five is definately not a SPRING CHICKEN. I am tired as can be after I get off work but I will survive. I really am enjoying working the other job. It is a nice change and I was spending way to much time here at my computer. But it is where all my friends are. hehe

Another Sunday has come and Gone :(

I can't believe my weekend is gone already. It sure goes quick when you want it to go slow. I had so much to do these 2 days but I think I only got half of it done. I did get my hard drives cleaned up. I had things everywhere. I tend to get lazy and let my files get scattered all over and it takes me all weekend to clean things up. Hopefully this time I won't let it happen.

I was playing around today trying to learn how to make bows and curled ribbons today but I was not happy with my end results. Looks like I need a lot more practice but once I get them down I will get some up here for you all to let me know what you think. I admire everyone that has mastered it. They are not easy to make at all. Trying to get them to matchup and curve is complicated. ButI am determined to get it so watch for them coming soon.

Time for Another Freebie

I am sitting here at work looking thru my hard drive and came across these gray tags I had mad awhile back for a layout I was doing and decided to post them for you for free. I was doing a scrapbook for my step-daughter and needed something that had daddy, cousins and so on to match the layout I was doing and could not find one so I mad these. They are kinds plain but sometimes that is all a page needs to top off the page. I hope you enjoy these and can use them for a layout you do.

New Layout

I found this cool template from ScrapPony (linked on side) and it went so well with our trip to Old Tucson so I decided to do this layout. It looks so great with the photos. Let me know what you think. Also, THANK YOU ScrapPony for this great template. I love your work.

Another Freebie

Well, I have been getting back into my scrapbooking and creating again so I have made more papers for you all. I think I just needed that rest my vacation gave me to get my brain moving again. hehe I am in a springy mood today and wanted to make some papers that look like a spring cloudy sky with some cool colors. I really like these papers I made and I hope you so too. I used Photoshop to make them and Corel Draw to set up the sample. They are the 2 programs I prefer to use when scrapping. Happy St Pats Day

Whats left of it that is. I have been busy getting the house and everything ready for my step-son to arrive Sunday so I have not had time to post things but I wanted to throw a little something up as this next week will be busy, Then once he leaves my sister and 5 other family members will be arriving on Sat. 24th, so you know what it will be like for the next 2 weeks. To say the least, crazy as can be be I promise to try to get something, if only one thing up now and then to give you things.

My twin is coming and Another Freebie...

Sorry I have not been posting things lately but things have been crazy around here and they are just going to get crazier. My twin sister is coming to visit and I am working on getting things ready for her, and the other 6 coming with her. So my house is going to be a mad house for a week the end of this month and I have tons to do to get my house ready, my cars ready, my kids ready, etc. But I am excited about it and can't wait. I love it when she comes out because I miss her a lot and we have a lot of fun together. Something I think only another twin would understand. We have this bond that is hard to explain. I love it. I have a set of twin girls myself, Lisa and Teresa. They are very close too and communicate alot like my sister and I do. We have this way of communicating without talking and it really freaks others out. We finish eachothers sentences, think things that the other is thinking and laugh with others not knowing what is going on, we even changes classes at one time during our school days and the teachers did not even know it. I love being a twin and could not think how it would be if I weren't. It is hard for me to concieve not being close to someone like I am my sister. I love her and could not live without her. I will upload some pictures when she is here for you.

I'm Back

I guess it has been quite awhile since I posted but things just have not been going good here lately. If I can say one word it would be "SICK". I feel like I have been ill this complete winter. I can't wait til it is over. I am finally back up and going and I hope it is gone for good this year.

My sister is coming to visit the end of this March and I am excited. They are going to be here for a week and I have not seen her since last summer. I miss her alot. We are twins and you know how close twins are? Well, imaging losing a limb. That is what it is like when we are not together. She has gone thru a bad divorce this last six months and things for her have been tough. She is finally back on her feet and ready to live better than before. Or, at least happier than she has been for the last 7 years. I am praying for her and hope that she finds the man she deserves this time. She is a good woman and deserves the best god put on this earth for her.

Well, enough babeling for me. On to your freebie, I decided to throw together a bunch of loose elements I have made for odd and end things I have done. I hope you like them.

It's Friday, Yeah !

Has it been a busy week or what? I have been so busy I haven't had time to upload anything to my bog here, much less blog anything.

It has been a sad day for me today. One of my friends & his wife, actually my sons best friend since childhood, lost their baby today. She was almost 8 months along. Still not sure exactly what happened but I am mourning for them. They were really excited about this baby when I talk to them the end of last month and were planning a baby shower. It was a girl. I am so sad for them I could cry. I couldn't imagine losing a baby. I always had great pregnancies, so good that I had cows, a 10 pounder, twins - 5.3 & 7.3, and 10.5 pounder. I always went full term and with the twins had to beg to get them induced two weeks early because I couldn't walk. So it upsets me when someone loses their baby. Especially after caring it almost full term. So please say a prayer for them if you would, Thanks.

Otherwise just been busy with life. I have not even had time to scrapbook. That is sad. But I did manage to make some quick little shapes for you to download if you like them. It is a little big so it might take a little time to download. If you want me to make smaller files let me know and I can email them to you.

New Freebie

I had a pretty good Monday today. It went fairly fast at work, then I went to dinner, then to bowling. I bowled fairly good the first and last game (154,116,176-average 146) but that second game really could have used my help. I couldn't hit the side of a barn had it been right in front of me. For those of you that understand bowling, I am a pretty good bowler but I took last week off due to the flu and for some reason it was like I forgot how to bowl tonight. I for some reason thought my mark was one whole arrow to the left of my real mark. I didn't figure it out until the third game. DUH! I finally came back with a 176. See what taking a week off can do to you. :(

So Much for....

Well, so much for posting every day but at least I am getting a post in here every two days. I am thinking this flu is never going to go away. I am feeling a little better but still can't get over this stomach ache. So pray for me ok?

Otherwise, things are going good. I am finally getting back to my scrapbooking again and have a freebie I made to add to these Valentine things I have been posting here for you. I hope you like it. I am trying to learn as much as I can but I am not doing good finding any new tutorials for me to learn. I love to learn and can never have enough to experiment with. I use Photoshop and Corel Draw to design and do my LOs and I am learning new things about them everyday. They are great tools to use and easy to learn. There is so much you can do with them. If you have any questions or need help with either let me know.

Happy February

Yeah, the month of Love is here and I love it. This is one of my favorite months mostly because I am in love with my husband and it's Valentine's and his Birthday month. So what better way to show the one you love then to give them their wish and their valentine within days of each other. Ok, I am weird but it is fun for me. Not that I have a clue what I am getting him yet but I always come up with something good that he will enjoy at the last minute. He is a computer geek just like me so anything geekie works. hehe

Flu Bug

Well, I managed to avoid getting the flu until now. :( I have been down all week with this nasty flu going around. So I have not been keeping my freebies up here as I promised.
